Inspire Health Foundation offers hands-on opportunities for students to explore careers in healthcare, connect with local professionals, and discover new possibilities.
Spring Break and Summer Camps
Students explore healthcare careers through hands-on activities and interactive workshops during Inspire Health’s spring break and summer camps. IHF partners with Greenbush to offer spring break camps for local elementary students. Summer camps serve students from Pre-K through 12th grade and span multiple days, often including offsite experiences that expand on what students learn in the classroom.
Health Career Exploration Days
These half-day sessions give students a closer look at working in a rural healthcare setting. Led in partnership with Greenbush, the program connects students with CHC/SEK professionals who share their day-to-day work and guide hands-on activities introducing a variety of career paths. Space is limited each semester. Schools are encouraged to contact Inspire Health about availability and scheduling.
Inspiring Women Conferences
These conferences invite high school girls to learn about careers in healthcare directly from women in the field through speaker sessions and interactive activities. The fall conference focuses on breast cancer awareness, while the spring conference addresses menstrual and pelvic health. Space is limited, and schools are encouraged to contact Inspire Health to reserve seats.
Job Shadowing
Students take part in individualized experiences observing healthcare professionals in clinical settings. The day typically begins with a guided tour and an overview of how a rural health center operates. Students then spend time in their areas of interest, observing daily workflows and learning how different roles contribute to patient care.
