Job Shadow Opportunities
The Inspire Health Foundation and CHC/SEK’s job shadowing program connects community members with meaningful healthcare career exploration through observational learning and professional mentorship.
Shadowing opportunities are meant to be a professional, educational experience for someone who is exploring a healthcare career of interest.
Job shadowing opportunities are limited to Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm and based on employee availability and capacity.
A completed job shadowing request and all required documents must be submitted at least 45 days before the requested start date. Shadowing experiences are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis once all requirements are met.
Job Shadowing Eligibility
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age to shadow.
- Some shadowing opportunities may be limited to those 18 years of age or older.
- Shadowing opportunities are limited to twenty (20) hours within a twelve (12) month period. Additional shadow hours exceeding twenty (20) hours may be approved when the experience is required as part of a program or program application process. Supporting documentation will be required to exceed twenty (20) shadowing hours.

- Provide a copy of your valid driver’s license or state issued identification card.
- Proof of COVID and Flu Vaccine.
- If you have an approved medical or religious reason to decline vaccinations, a declination form must be submitted.
The Confidentiality/HIPAA Policy, Observational Experience, Observational Guidelines, and Vaccine Declination forms may be printed and signed using the links provided above. If under 18 years of age, parent or legal guardian must sign the forms as well.
