The Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas (CHC/SEK) held its annual Employee Service Awards Dinner on June 4, 2026. During the celebration, CHC/SEK recognized employees who reached significant service milestones of ten, fifteen, and twenty years.
“CHC/SEK isn’t just an organization — it’s a community of people who have chosen to show up, year after year, for their neighbors. We started in 2003 with a belief that everyone deserves quality care. More than two decades later, our growth in patients and communities served is something to be proud of — and it’s the people in that room who made it real.”
Now in its 23rd year, CHC/SEK has grown significantly since opening its doors in 2003 with just 11 employees serving 3,300 patients. Today, a team of more than 950 employees cares for more than 85,000 patients annually.
