With over 50 years of healthcare administration experience, Karen Vinyard Waddell joins the Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas Board of Directors.
“I am so impressed with the passion and mission at Community Health Center,” Waddell said. “It’s so important today that we provide the greatest access to health care. I don’t think I’ve seen any other organization that does it as well or any better than Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas and now, of Oklahoma.”
By design, the CHC/SEK board has a member from every region it serves, and the majority (at least 51%) of the health center board members must be patients served by the health center. Waddell will represent the Washington County area, which is home to the CHC/OK Bartlesville clinic. The CHC/OK Bartlesville Clinic is an affiliate of CHC/SEK.
Waddell has worked in healthcare administration at several hospitals.
Waddell is a mother, grandmother and she is an avid tennis player, quilter and pianist.
