At Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas (CHC/SEK) we provide or coordinate access to specialty services, including:
Mammography Services, a specific type of imaging test that uses a low-dose X-ray to aid in the detection and diagnosis of breast diseases. At CHC/SEK’s Fort Scott and Pittsburg clinics, CHC/SEK offers 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional mammograms by staff, and with equipment, accredited and evaluated by the American College of Radiology (ACR), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE).
Computed tomography (CT) is a diagnostic imaging test used to create detailed images of internal organs, bones, soft tissue and blood vessels. It can reveal internal injuries and bleeding quickly to help save lives. At CHC/SEK’s Pittsburg clinic, CHC/SEK offers Computed tomography (CT) imaging by staff, and with equipment, accredited and evaluated by the American College of Radiology (ACR), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE).
Same-day Medicaid for children and pregnant women through KanCare, even if you are uninsured. This will cover you for medication, hospital, and medical care.
A benefits enrollment center which offers advice and enrollment in additional benefits available to those enrolled in, or soon to be eligible for, Medicare.
Our patient navigators who can help you find insurance on the health insurance marketplace and guide you through the application process.
We provide food for those who are in need at all our locations with the exception of Pittsburg. We can also make referrals to community partners that offer food.
