At Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas (CHC/SEK) we provide general public transportation services (CareVan services) on a first come, first serve basis.  Our CareVan services are available in Crawford County, Kansas.

  • If you need transportation services, please contact us at (833) 228-7433.
  • These services are available Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

We plan to expand to Bourbon County, Kansas, Cherokee County, Kansas, and Ottawa County, Oklahoma later in 2023.

Our CareVan services are provided in collaboration with grant programs with the Kansas Department of Transportation and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.

CareVan FAQs

A: Yes, all vehicles are wheelchair accessible; some have power lifts and some have ramps. Please let the dispatcher know when scheduling your ride.

A: Yes, we will go to other clinics, hospital systems, or pharmacies.

A: We ask that all passengers with symptoms (fever, cough, sneezing, congestion, etc) wear a mask to protect our drivers and other riders.

A: Yes, we will try to accommodate as many riders as possible. This means that riders may share a vehicle, be asked to be dropped off early for an appointment, or may need to wait for their ride home.
