CareVan services are funded, in part, by the KDOT Public Transportation Program.
A service of Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas, CareVan provides general public and non-emergency medical transportation on a first come, first serve basis. Our transportation services are in Bourbon, Crawford, and Cherokee counties in Kansas, and Ottawa and Washington counties in Oklahoma.
- To schedule a ride, please call Dispatch at (833) 228-7433 between 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, Monday – Thursday and 7:30 am – 3:30 pm on Friday.
- These services are available 7:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday – Thursday, and 7:30 am – 3:30 pm Friday. To connect to Telecommunications Relay Service dial 711.

A: Yes, all vehicles are wheelchair accessible; some have power lifts and some have ramps. Please let the dispatcher know when scheduling your ride.
A: Yes, we will go to other clinics, hospital systems, or pharmacies.
A: Yes, it is possible that there may be other riders in the vehicle with you.
A: Please call 833-228-7433. Please leave a voicemail with the best number to reach you if there is no answer.
A: Rides can be scheduled up to 3 months in advance. While we do our best to accommodate day-of requests, last-minute rides may not always be possible and are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
