Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas and USD 250 Pittsburg Community Schools have partnered to provide health care services for all district students. Services are provided through the KidCare Connection mobile health van that will scheduled at the schools throughout the school year.
Monday – Lakeside Elementary
Tuesday – Meadowlark Elementary
Wednesday – Pittsburg High School
Thursday – Pittsburg Community Middle School
*Friday morning – Westside Elementary
*Friday afternoon – George Nettels Elementary

Services available include routine physical exams including sports physicals, early detection and treatment of illness and injury, care management of chronic disease, management of recurring health concerns, immunizations, assistance with weight loss and smoking cessation, referrals to drug and alcohol counseling and health education. All participating students will be served regardless of insurance or income status with no out-of-pocket expenses to the family or student.
