Administrative Staff
Krista Postai, an original “founder” and former board member of CHC/SEK, serves as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining the organization in November 2004, she was Vice President of Planning and Development at Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center. During her 23 years with Mt. Carmel, she was instrumental in the development of several key programs including the regional cancer center, the $17.5 million outpatient expansion completed in 2004, the creation of a physician recruitment and retention program and several mission-directed services including CareVan (a transportation service), Congregational Health Ministry, and the Wesley House Dental Clinic. She served as secretary to the Mount Carmel Foundation and as liaison to the Mt. Carmel Auxiliary.
She currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors of Cornerstone, a long-term care facility, and as a board member of the Family Resource Center. Krista was in the second class of Oral Health Kansas’ Dental Champions Leadership Program. She is currently the President of the Board of Directors of the Kansas Association for the Medically Underserved, a Kansas Health Foundation Fellow and a Sunflower Foundation Fellow.
She attended Pittsburg State University and is a graduate of Kansas University in Lawrence with a Bachelor’s of Science.
Douglas Stuckey, CPA, originally served as financial consultant to CHC/SEK during its startup struggles and was instrumental in a highly successful turnaround of its financial situation. He officially became Chief Financial Officer in August of 2005. He has 22 years experience in both the public and private accounting sectors, including five years with a “Big Four” accounting firm in Houston with supervisory positions in auditing, tax and accounting, and chief accounting officer of two publicly held companies.
Douglas has provided dozens of hours of training and technical support to fellow CFO’s and staff of other Community Health Centers. He serves on the Finance Committee of the Kansas Association for the Medically Underserved, as treasurer for Oral Health Kansas and as a board member of Kansas Health Solutions.
He is a graduate of Pittsburg State University with a BS in Business Administration in Accounting and the University of Texas at Austin with a MBA in Finance.
Jason Wesco
joined CHC/SEK in 2006 as Chief Operating Officer. Jason was previously the Director of Operations and Community Development for the Kansas Association for the Medically Underserved (our Primary Care Association) where he provided training and technical assistance to the state’s Community Health Centers, helped develop new clinics and services, as well as overseeing day-to-day management of KAMU operations. Prior to that, Jason was the Executive Director of the Douglas County Dental Clinic in Lawrence, a multi-provider clinic that provides services to the underserved.
He serves on the Health Policy Committee of the National Association of Community Health Centers and was in the first class of Oral Health Kansas’ Dental Champions Leadership Program.
He is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, where he earned an M.A. and Ball State University, where he received a B.S.
Dr. Linda Bean, DO, serves as Chief Medical Officer of CHC/SEK, joining the organization full-time in July 2005 following completion of her family practice residency at the Via Christi Regional Medical Center in Wichita. She received her Board Certification in Family Practice in August 2005.
She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville with a Bachelor’s of Science and the received her medical degree from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri.
In addition to primary medical care, she is providing obstetrical and gynecological services to her patients. She directly supervises a ten-member medical staff and is responsible for the overall quality of healthcare services delivered by CHC/SEK. She is a participant in the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program.
