Community Outreach
Health care isn’t limited to the four walls of the Community Health clinics. Medical and dental professionals hit the road each week providing services in outreach locations throughout Southeast Kansas. Head Start, child care facilities, preschools, public and private schools and long-term-care facilities host CHC/SEK dental services such as assessments, cleanings, fluoride varnish and restorative procedures. School districts and Head Start organizations welcome immunization nurses and physicians performing well-child checks. CHC/SEK actively pursues alternative locations for providing services ensuring the most vulnerable populations receive access to quality, affordable care.
